Scientists call on UN Climate leaders to admit they are wrong and renounce Global Warming claims and ‘devastating policies’

Dear Dr. Pachauri and others associated with IPCC

We are writing to you and others associated with the IPCC position – that man’s CO2 is a driver of global warming and climate change – to ask that you now in view of the evidence retract support from the current IPCC position [as in footnote 1] and admit that there is no observational evidence in measured data going back 22,000 years or even millions of years that CO2 levels (whether from man or nature) have driven or are driving world temperatures or climate change. If you believe there is evidence of the CO2 driver theory in the available data please present a graph of it.We draw your attention to three observational refutations of the IPCC position (and note there are more). Ice-core data from the ACIA (Arctic Climate Impact Assessment) shows that temperatures have fallen since around 4,000 years ago (the Bronze Age Climate Optimum) while CO2 levels have risen, yet this graphical data was not included in the IPCC Summary for Policymakers (Fig. SPM1 Feb07) which graphed the CO2 rise. More recent data shows that in the opposite sense to IPCC predictions world temperatures have not risen and indeed have fallen over the past 10 years while CO2 levels have risen dramatically. The up-dated temperature measurements have been released by the NASA’s Microwave Sounding Unit (MSU) [1] as well as by the UK’s Hadley Climate Research Unit (Temperature v. 3, variance adjusted – Hadley CRUT3v) [2]. In parallel, readings of atmospheric concentrations of CO2 have been released by the Mauna Loa Observatory in Hawaii [3]. They have been combined in graphical form by Joe D’Aleo [4], and are shown below.

These latest temperature readings represent averages of records obtained from standardized meteorological stations from around the planet, located in both urban as well as rural settings. They are augmented by satellite data, now generally accepted as ultimately authoritative, since they have a global footprint and are not easily vulnerable to manipulation nor observer error. What is also clear from the graphs is that average global temperatures have been in stasis for almost a decade, and may now even be falling.

A third important observation is that contrary to the CO2 driver theory, temperatures in the upper troposphere (where most jets fly) have fallen over the past two decades. [Footnote 2]

IPCC policy is already leading to economic and unintended environmental damage. Specifically the policy of burning food – maize as biofuel – has contributed to sharp rises in food prices which are causing great hardship in many countries and is also now leading to increased deforestation in Brazil, Malaysia, Indonesia, Togo, Cambodia, Nigeria, Burundi, Sri Lanka, Benin and Uganda for cultivation of crops [5].

Given the economic devastation that is already happening and which is now widely recognised will continue to flow from this policy, what possible justification can there be for its retention?

We ask you and all those whose names are associated with IPCC policy to accept the scientific observations and renounce current IPCC policy.

Yours sincerely,

Footnote 1: Two heavily publicised quotations which emerged from your organisation, respectively in February and December last year, are:

Most of the observed increase in global average temperatures since the mid-20th century is very likely due to the observed increase in anthropogenic GHG concentrations. It is likely that there has been significant anthropogenic warming over the past 50 years averaged over each continent (except Antarctica) (Figure SPM.4).{2.4} [6] and

The 2007 IPCC report, compiled by several hundred climate scientists, has unequivocally concluded that our climate is warming rapidly, and that we are now at least 90% certain that this is mostly due to human activities. The amount of carbon dioxide in our atmosphere now far exceeds the natural range of the past 650,000 years, and it is rising very quickly due to human activity. If this trend is not halted soon, many millions of people will be at risk from extreme events such as heat waves, drought, floods and storms, our coasts and cities will be threatened by rising sea levels, and many ecosystems, plants and animal species will be in serious danger of extinction. (Summary statement, Bali Conference.) [7].

Footnote 2: “Data over the past two decades indicates that temperatures have actually declined in the upper troposphere, even though there has been some minor upward trends in temperature at sea level and lower altitudes. This completely contradicts conventional global warming models. Before we radically rearrange the political economy of the world because some scientists claim anthropogenic CO2 is the cause of climate change, it might be worthwhile for anyone taking a position on the topic to consider whether or not this is indeed “well settled science.” Dr. Richard Lindzen, MIT, March 2008.

1200ppmv CO2 would be “Wonderful”

Dr. Joanne Simpson :-
“We all know the frailty of models concerning the air-surface system. We only need to watch the weather forecasts.”

Plant respiration and photosynthesis is a refrigeration process and causes overall cooling. The single experimentally proven result of an increase in CO2 levels is increased plant growth – both in speed and size. The current 383ppvm CO2 is considered to be “dangerously low for plants on earth” and the world would be a more lush one if we could somehow get levels up to three times that(1200-1500 ppmv would be wonderful) The greatest gift the developed nations can give to the third world is free fertilizer in the form of higher CO2 levels.

The UN IPCC and all those scientists and politicians who claim to support the “computer models” is in the business of creating a new world currency, and policy, that they alone control. They use this power to prevent third world countries from ever becoming developed, they will tax the living daylights out of anyone who can afford it – and most of them won’t even notice and they definitely won’t stop using airplanes and SUVs – and leave unchecked India and China who are now the largest producers of plant food, sorry CO2 that vital ingredient for life on Earth NOT a pollutant.

As with so much in this brave new world black has become white and CO2 will be blamed for the coming cold century yet carbon is the most miraculous of elements and it being put in such a bad light should show us all which way  the wind blows. There is an insidious dark agenda at play and when the proof arrives, in the form of a solar cycle that freezes all our assets, that agenda will be revealed for all to see. The Sun is coming to our rescue but, unfortunately, those of us living north of the tropics will feel it’s bite. I only hope that those people who have been suckered by this veil of lies will put their righteous fury, upon realizing the truth, into a campaign to expose the inherent inequity of “peer review” and “consensus” and hold the IPCC and Al Gore accountable for the, already, massive damage they have done to economies and lives. It would be nice if Al gave his Nobel and Oscar back – along with using the 100,000,000 dollars he has “accumulated” in the last 8 (eight) years to undo some of the harm. He could dissolve the carbon credit companies he co-owns with the bankers also.
Hey if they can try to give me nightmares I can dream can’t I?

Edith Sitwell :-
“The public will believe anything, so long as it is not founded on truth.”

Cold is the new Hot

Thomas Henry Huxley The Father of Science wrote:-
The improver of natural knowledge absolutely refuses to acknowledge authority, as such. For him, scepticism is the highest of duties; blind faith the one unpardonable sin.

Here we are then – freezing our assets off when all around are shouting “Anthropogenic Global Warming”. Not only that but scientists on both sides of the divide refuse to entertain the Sun did it let alone the planets did it. Some of them get quite upset when you claim that there are solar cycles that coincide with planetary cycles, most notably Jupiter’s. Some get protective of their own field maybe losing funding and credit because some civilian with zero academic qualifications has used a commonly available software and data to show that planetary alignments do have an inherent harmony and it has an effect on the Sun. Seems so obvious yet it infuriates climatologists and other scientists. They refuse point blank to entertain any idea that forces they can’t measure have any effect on the star at the center of our planetary system. If they were really on the side of skepticism, as all good scientists should be they would simply investigate the proposal with an open mind. Most would rather wave their hand to swat the pest away from their general area muttering “astrology, nut-case, unscientific” and the like. They hope that this will all just fade away…..

In which case: HERE BE MONSTERS –

Use of a digital orrery is recommended to speed your path to enlightenment. Take a heliocentric, isometric view of the solar system and pull back until all the planets can be observed in 3D in the program window. Then set the time. Pick a year such as 829AD, or 1010AD, the years the Nile froze. Yep – it has been that cold in human history at times. See how the planets were positioned then? Do you think there may be other, similar, climate events at other times that share the same configuration of planetary bodies if you press the “animate” button? Correlate. Are you getting that tingle up your spine? That mixture of “it cannot be that simple” and “why didn’t I think of this” that points to a theory “ringing true” in the receptive ears of an open-minded researcher. Ah. I remember it well. When I was first shown this system the utter elegance and obvious repeatability had me slack jawed in envy and awe. We can predict the weather (or climate/whatever;-) and this gives us the chance to save lives and improve the circumstances of our fellow man.

So much for our carbon footprints. So much for CO2 being a forcing on climate, or weather depending on if you believe they are the same or not, or even being a greenhouse gas – settled science indeed. The world is waking up to the facts on climate change. Global warming is being used to scare us and fix tax policy and a global currency around a premise that humans caused the small and benign warming we have felt in the last few decades by their CO2 and other greenhouse gas emissions yet nothing could be further from the truth. Carbon credit trading is a crime against humanity for several reasons which will be laid out here along with further elucidation on The System discovered by Ulric Lyons in 2006.
