Science will be in very bad shape soon. This is what bothers me about you guys. You claim scientific credentials yet are religious in your unswerving faith that CO2 is bad m’kay. Your superior diagnostic skills should have you on our side of the fence at the first mention of anything that smells like the fish that we are wafted with daily.

Don’t get angry, or derogatory, just because nature is disproving your pet theory on climate – use your science to create a new pet. That is what it is for. Huddling together like witch doctors and agreeing with despots does nothing to advance science. The exact opposite in fact. You will be found out. Someone brave right now could make a name for themselves. Not saying you could make a hundred million dollars like some people but……

Your duty, as scientists, is to question theory until it either breaks down and confesses that it has been evasive or it produces repeatable, verifiable, even elegant, proof of its utility. Having failed to prove CO2 is driving temperatures you should move on and attempt to discover what is.

Well, Reid Bryson was a climate scientist’s climate scientist. In 1948, he became the founding chairman of the Department of Meteorology, he once said “You can go outside and spit and have the same effect as doubling carbon dioxide” and he actually saved lives through his science.

Hansen, on the other hand, has failed to save his own skin, or reputation, after the hockey stick fiasco and his failure to apologize points him out as a totally political creature. And! Those future historians may come to believe that a side effect of “too much CO2″ was a misguided belief that a 0.6C increase in global temperatures (whatever they are) was anything other than benign.

The tax aspect of course is political. The AlGorithm has “been given” nearly $1,000,000,000 in the last 6 weeks. $300,000,000 for “advertising” to the unbelievers that his “settled science” is gospel and a further $680,000,000 to “invest” in companies he already has an interest in.

The United Nations World Meteorological Organization recently reported that because of “part of what we call ‘variability’” global temperatures have not risen since 1998. This was explained away by WMO Secretary-General Michel Jarraud as a cool spell brought on by the Pacific Ocean’s La Nina current. That wouldn’t be so bad in isolation but, as anyone who has had a look around will know, we are also in unknown territory as far as solar cycle 24 is concerned and with every passing day that it remains absent we will, in the near future, suffer from the cold. Furthermore, the Argo buoys, which were commissioned to end the unbelievers arguments, have failed to detect any signs of climate change. Dr. Josh Willis said, in an interview with National Public Radio, “there has been a very slight cooling” over the buoy’s five years of observation. One would hazard that if they showed “a very slight warming” we would still be listening to the crowing.

There are five basic questions that warming alarmists must answer on the path to true enlightenment grasshopper.

1) There are two known climate possibilities. The balance that sustains us with, like it or lump it, very little variation in the face of our disgorging CO2 into it, and the White Earth Equilibrium. Mathematically as likely as the one we inhabit yet, under its cold regime the seas are frozen and ice covers the continents. Why does ours prevail? Why has it done so since before the first ice age?

2) Do you dispute the NASA Microwave Sounding Unit data indicating no significant lower latitude high tropospheric warming? In the entirety of its existence? The very equipment that was provisioned to end any GW ambiguity?

3) Can you prove AGW? Can you prove the very small, and extremely benign, warming we have “suffered” in the last 100 years is a direct result of man’s activities? Or of his CO2 output? Without relying on software models. Using the scientific method? Can you point to someone who has?

4) Do you dispute the findings of the Argos (Buoy) data collection and location system?
Dr Josh Willis at NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory, a scientist who keeps close watch on the Argo findings has stated and “there has been a very slight cooling,” but insisted the temperature drop was “not anything really significant.” Can anyone imagine NASA or the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) or the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change relinquishing the chance to crow over a “very slight” warming?

5) Do you dispute that atmospheric CO2 level is driven by, or follow if you will, temperature?
“The temperatures and carbon dioxide concentrations have been correlated but we know for sure that the temperature was the cause and the concentration was its consequence, not the other way around. If you look carefully at the graphs, you will see that the carbon dioxide concentrations lag behind the temperature by 800 years.”

The satisfactory explanation of these five inquiries will lead you to that much vaunted destination that Al Gore and his ilk claim to already inhabit – The Truth Pertaining to Anthropogenic Global Warming. There has been a recent test on ABC “news”.

The usual, false, accusation that he was funded by “Big Oil” is foremost in any attack on Fred but they miss a pertinent point. Whatever came out of “the fossil fuel industry’s multi-million dollar, years long campaign of propaganda to misinform the American public about the reality of global warming”? Where are all the papers, peer reviewed or otherwise, disproving MMGW?

Some may feel this incredible assault was a show of strength, proving that the MSM can do anything. They besmirch one of the world’s most luminous innovators and ignore, or even hide his research and yet promote a proven liar and his science fiction horror story to the exclusion of all else – especially the truth. A set of lies that has, perversely but fittingly, garnered a “Fantasy land” award for a documentary not to mention $100,000,000 in the folding stuff inside the last 8(eight) years for its “creator”. We are through the looking glass. Freedom is slavery.

It all comes down to budgets and agenda. Environmentalism run rampant will produce the diametrical opposite to its stated aims. Maybe that is precisely its adherents’ hidden agenda. We are already seeing world markets in corn, wheat and rice being malformed by an equally twisted belief that food should be turned into fuel even when it is more damaging to the biosphere, more likely to lead to famine and more likely to stall real alternative developments than allowing the free market to prevail. The founder of Greenpeace, Dr. Patrick Moore has stated that Greenpeace itself and its’ policies; “Tend strongly to be anti-human”, “anti science and technology”, “anti-trade and anti-capitalism”, “anti-business”, “anti-civilization”, and “invariably misleading”. Greenpeace are only one arrow in the fundamentalists’ quiver.

They ignore, purposefully, the tortuous and hazard strewn road that got us from the cave to the space station. We lived without fire. Miserably. We burned wood and still merely subsisted even when we discovered charcoal and invented metalworking. We found the energy locked up in coal and even the working classes began to live longer and enjoy a modicum of leisure time. Oil is merely the next, fortuitously discovered step on this path toward a world without waste. Thankfully we have hundreds of years of easily exploited reserves of oil and coal to see us through until we find better alternatives. Doubly fortunate is the fact that the only, long lived, output when we burn this treasure sensibly is plant food and we are nowhere near(less than 25%) to having optimum levels of that present in our atmosphere. Even if another China was to burst onto the scene we have centuries before a truly beneficial concentration is achieved. Meanwhile we are exporting to the whole world, especially the developing nations who are most in need of it, free fertilizer. Another hateful waste in the envious green eyes of the environmentalists. Why should the useless eaters get anything for free, especially unfettered amounts of the life giving gas?

There is merit in the argument that climate change, and global warming in particular, allowed us to thrive and expand yet now it and the accompanying increase in CO2, which preceded the other, is made out to be a dangerous threat to humanity. Pull the other one it has alarm bells on it.

Time is a luxury we no longer have, even though cooling is upon us and the Sun will soon out all these “learned” idiots, we are in the grip of dark forces that hide under a banner of green yet are anything but.

The bubble has finally burst. CO2 levels are now back to “dangerously low” preindustrial concentrations. They must be as global temperature has dropped precipitously in the last 90 days and as we all know the two are inextricably intertwined. We can soon have CO2 back up to “safe” levels of 600ppmv to 1200ppmv that allows all plant life to flourish and ameliorates the ridiculous demands of the “emission cutting” exercise known as bio-fuel production.

The climate police inform us that any mention of gradients, slope, relative or smoothing in connection with recent cooling trends will be dealt with as harshly as the weather (sorry, climate) has lashed the northern latitudes this past few months.

Nothing pisses off the rich more than poor people smiling, laughing and being happy. They tolerate us while we build their pyramids but as soon as they have machines that can make machines and have codified DNA and mastered medicine, by their continuous experimentation with the plebiscite, they will cull us. Preparations are already underway. They do not wish to “cure” or “change” anything.

Don’t believe me or consider me a ranting paranoiac, fine, but consider just this one of many grand ironies:

We have had the lungs of the world ripped out to gain the privilege of reading propaganda, downright lies and advertising for more of the same on paper made from trees, yet the people who brought you the first “newspapers” fought, successfully, to destroy a plant that produces vastly superior paper far more cheaply and easily than killing trees ever could and at 4x the amount per acre (over 20 years) using zero dioxins and it can be recycled 2.5x more than wood-pulp derivatives. This plant produces more biomass per acre than any other almost anywhere on the planet with zero maintenance and no fertilizers, herbicides, insecticides or fungicides. Just plant it and sit back.

Its wonderfully wholesome seeds have an oil content of 34% (more than any other seed) and, after that oil is extracted, to make fuel (at a mind boggling 95% ratio) or foodstuffs, the remaining cake is only beaten by the perilous soy bean in protein content. It provides the world’s strongest natural fiber that when made into fabric, lasts the longest of all the soft fibers, is warmer than cotton, more absorbent and produces over 3x as much per acre.

It is massively efficient as a rotated crop, with corn and legumes for instance. It has a 3 to 4 month growing season even at altitude or in high latitudes. When dried in the field it returns over 50% of the nutrients it took from the soil during growth and this, coupled with the deep nutrients it draws upon with its root system and then sheds in its leaves, makes it easier on the soil and of more benefit to subsequent crops than any other.

Makes one wonder what else this plant is capable of that strikes so much fear into the black hearts of the chemical company owners et al that they continue to suppress it and any investigation into it.

Oh yeah, for those of you who believe we should limit our production of plant food (CO2), this marvel of nature can sequester over 20 tons of carbon dioxide per hectare per crop and if its mass, after extracting all the good stuff, is then made into its own extremely viable version of concrete you have the perfect double whammy – carbon sequestering par excellence and carbon reduction through concrete reduction. But that is the last thing that is going to happen because of point one above.
If you haven’t guessed, or don’t know of it. The plant is hemp. (cannabis does slightly better at most of the above but let’s not rock more than one boat at a time ‘eh.)

The single experimentally proven result of an increase in CO2 levels is increased plant growth – both in speed and size. The current 383ppvm CO2 is considered to be “dangerously low for plants on earth” and the world would be a more lush one if we could somehow get levels up to three times that(1200-1500 ppmv would be wonderful) The greatest gift the developed nations can give to the third world is free fertilizer in the form of higher CO2 levels.

The UN IPCC and all those scientists and politicians who claim to support the “computer models” is in the business of creating a new world currency, and policy, that they alone control. They use this power to prevent third world countries from ever becoming developed, they will tax the living daylights out of anyone who can afford it – and most of them won’t even notice and they definitely won’t stop using airplanes and SUVs – and leave unchecked India and China who are now the largest producers of plant food, sorry CO2 that vital ingredient for life on Earth NOT a pollutant.

As with so much in this brave new world black has become white and CO2 will be blamed for the coming cold century yet carbon is the most miraculous of elements and it being put in such a bad light should show us all which way  the wind blows. There is an insidious dark agenda at play and when the proof arrives, in the form of a solar cycle that freezes all our assets, that agenda will be revealed for all to see. The Sun is coming to our rescue but, unfortunately, those of us living north of the tropics will feel it’s bite. I only hope that those people who have been suckered by this veil of lies will put their righteous fury, upon realizing the truth, into a campaign to expose the inherent inequity of “peer review” and “consensus” and hold the IPCC and Al Gore accountable for the, already, massive damage they have done to economies and lives. It would be nice if Al gave his Nobel and Oscar back – along with using the 100,000,000 dollars he has “accumulated” in the last 8 (eight) years to undo some of the harm. El Bore should immediately return his trophies and spend his new found fortune undoing the inestimable harm that has already been triggered as a result of his pompous posturing. The IPCC should immediately stop spending taxpayer money on junkets in far-away places (mostly warm with great nightlife) for the tens of thousands of “delegates” and hangers-on who have the audacity to fly there only to “decide” where their next party will be. This must stop. The lies must be revealed. There is a bright future if we can undo this carp. The world needs to see that manipulation on a global scale can and does exist. The benefits of overthrowing this charade are manifold. Including the exposure of “peer review” for what it is – a mandate for friends to back up each other and their theories to the detriment of truth, society and persons with opposite views. To my mind the most deserving casualty of the exposure of the UN IPCC confection is going to be “peer review” and it’s mantra of “settled science” through “consensus”. Crock of shirts. The old boys network laid bare. We need to take a different tack. Humanity is not best served by allowing “peers” to “review” anything, let alone science that may drive policy. As time passes this need becomes more relevant – we don’t want the IPCC to actually decide anything do we? They would be basing their decision on flawed science so the outcome would only be bad for the majority in this author’s opinion. The IPCC must disband forthwith.

Here we are then – freezing our assets off when all around are shouting “Anthropogenic Global Warming”. Not only that but scientists on both sides of the divide refuse to entertain the Sun did it let alone the planets did it. Some of them get quite upset when you claim that there are solar cycles that coincide with planetary cycles, most notably Jupiter’s. Some get protective of their own field maybe losing funding and credit because some civilian with zero academic qualifications has used a commonly available software and data to show that planetary alignments do have an inherent harmony and it has an effect on the Sun. Seems so obvious yet it infuriates climatologists and other scientists. They refuse point blank to entertain any idea that forces they can’t measure have any effect on the star at the center of our planetary system. If they were really on the side of skepticism, as all good scientists should be they would simply investigate the proposal with an open mind. Most would rather wave their hand to swat the pest away from their general area muttering “astrology, nut-case, unscientific” and the like. They hope that this will all just fade away…..

Do you think there may be other, similar, climate events at other times that share the same configuration of planetary bodies if you press the “animate” button? Correlate. Are you getting that tingle up your spine? That mixture of “it cannot be that simple” and “why didn’t I think of this” that points to a theory “ringing true” in the receptive ears of an open-minded researcher. Ah. I remember it well.
